Debbie Wood founded Sprig Asheville to add beauty to the city in unexpected places. Many businesses and urban dwellers believe they do not have space for a garden or plants, but at Sprig Asheville we know that is not true! 

Debbie was born in Charlotte, got her Bachelors in Medical Chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill, and began life in medical research at Emory University in Atlanta. After many years in Atlanta, she wanted a change of pace, and Asheville was calling her name. 

Now an Asheville resident of over 10 years, Debbie loves to help beautify the city one container garden at a time.
